Notes: This costume has a big adventure under it. The main kimono was done in 2005, but stayed in stand-by waiting for the other 2 elements of the group to get their costumes done. In 2006 said elements comissioned their costumes, so it was scheduled for us to wear these costumes at Amecon 2006 in the UK. However 2006 was also my last year of university, so with all the cumulated stress from it, plus being on exams until the end of July left me little time to work on costumes. The con was held August 11-13, so I was counting in working on the wig when I got to the UK on August 2nd. Riight, poor delusioned me. Brittish Airways managed to lose my boyfriend and my luggage, and we were only reunited with it 4 days later. The result: The wig was done in under 2 hours on the day I wore the costume >_> I do not recommend this to anyone. Obviously the wig will be reworked a bit, but all things considered the wig didn't came out that badly. The jacket is also being made, being this the reason why this costume is classified as "version 1.0". Also always make sure you bring reference pictures of the costume and actualy look at them as you're putting your costume on. It's amazing how you can get confused and your memory can actualy fool you. Not looking at the reference picture is the reason for my kimono being closed the wrong way.
