♥ My layout was made by the wonderful and talented DarkIceLady. You can visit both her cosplay webpage Endless Dream and her domain Nyarah.net

♥ For updating the webpage I use the program 1st Page. I use Photoshop 7.0 for doing all the image treatment.

Past Versions

♥ This is the third version of Yume. The first version was very plain, all in shades of gray. I sadly don't have any screencaps of it, but trust me you're not missing anything.

♥ This was the second version of Yume. Joshlamont did the layout structure for me, and I then modifyed the images and text using the programst 1stPage. I also used the program ImageMapper to make my navigation bar.

Curiosities about the webpage:

♥ The names Urd, Verdandi and Skuld used in the cosplay section do not come from the manga "Ah! Megami-sama!" Urd (fate), Verdandi (being) and Skuld (necessity) are the 3 Norns of the Norse Mytology. Sometimes compared to the greek fates, these three supernatural women tend the Yggdrasil and determine fate. It is believed that a norn is present at a persons birth to determine his/her fate. You can find more info regarding the Norns here. My inspiration to use Urd, Verdandi and Skuld to represent the past, present and future costume sections came from the manga "Global Garden: The last dream of Einstein" by Saki Hiwatari.

♥ I decided to name this page "Yume" because "yume" means "dream" in Japanese, and I feel that cosplaying is a little bit like dreaming. Each time a cosplayer makes and wears a costume they enter their own dream world where they have lots of fun. And then we take our costumes off and the dream ends, until we wear them again and the dream starts all over again.
